EventManager (EM) is a single-user Microsoft Access database that can be used to manage many of the administrative and communication tasks associated with events such as company or organizational meetings, educational and training seminars, customer events and wedding planning.
EventManager ( event manager software ) assists the user in establishing, relating, and managing an unlimited number of events, participants, and activities in a manner which facilitates communication with participants, and the distribution of communications such as invitations, schedules, and activity information by email, or by using mailing labels. EventManager can also print name badges, optionally manage lodging requirements, and optionally manage and track individual participation in any of the activities that might be scheduled for an event such as dinners and golf tournaments. Numerous printed reports are also available. EventManager can also be used concurrently to manage communications within an organization using role groupings that are defined by the user.
Data from a prior event can be copied into a new event for editing and updating, thereby greatly reducing the time required to set up an event which is being closely repeated such as an annual company picnic.
Emails to participants can be addressed as “blind copies”, thereby concealing the addressee list.
There is a choice of two standard sizes of both Avery name badges and Avery mailing labels.
Either MS Outlook, or a “private” (e.g., Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail) email system may be used in conjunction with the EM system.
Organization members can be “tagged” with one or more roles to facilitate communication with common organization groupings such as the board of directors, executive committee, and up to fifteen other user-defined role groupings.
License activation is accomplished by first downloading and starting the full program version. You will be presented with a licensing screen that identifies the program serial number. This serial number must be emailed in accordance with the instructions on the screen in order to request a password. When it is confirmed that payment has been received for the program, a password to activate the program will be emailed to you.
The trial version does not need a password.
